http://www.ted.com/talks/charles_limb_building_the_musical_muscle.html
This was a TED talk by Charles Limb, who is a doctor and a musician. In his speech, he talks about how our sense of hearing is one of the most hardest sense to restore in the medical world today. Out of all the sounds music is the hardest for the deaf to comprehend. For someone who is deaf or loosing their hearing will not be able to perceive music as a person who has their full hearing would. The beauty in music is lost, but not all hope is. Beethoven, one of the greatest musicians, composed many of his pieces as he was going deaf. Showing us that are brains have a certain connection to music.
"We have come a long way. We have a long way to go. Restoration of basic sensory function is critical. Restoration of the ability to perceive beauty is inspiring."

Letters in my enviorment - Visti to the Getty!
It was a beautiful day to take a trip outside! This was the first time I've been to the Getty Museum since there Limestone and Marble renovation. It looked amazing! BEAu~tiful ^_^ And i found some letters!
Near the Staff building, there's what looks to be a launch pad that makes a pretty nice lower case "i" in the right angle! And the gaps between the limestone make a upper case "I".
This guy was hanging out, pinned up against the wall in the building near the entrance hall.
The pin "T"
The horn of the beatle "C"
Random black strip on the ground.... Lower case "l"
Cactus Garden Upper case "Y" and "V"
This was a metal miniature of the Getty. Arial view of the buildings made a lower case "b" and 2 upper case "L"s and "E".
Central Garden - Upper case "Q"
East Pavillion Building (Design at the top of a desk) - Upper Case "M"
The man the on the mens restroom panel...his legs kinda makes a upper case "V" hahaha

Good example
I chose Frosted cupcakery's business card as the good example, but not just because they have really good cupcakes. From what I can make of it, counting the store name, is grouped up into 3 types of fonts. The top opening line has its own style to lead up to the main store name. "Frosted" is in a thick, wispy font representing a fun image of delicious frosting on a cupcake. The light blue color pops up really well against the dark brown back. All other contact information is in a straight, simple (candara or calibri like font) type which makes it very legible.
